Initiated in 2003, and officially chartered in 2006, the Venture Club of Centre County currently consists of 20 compassionate and community-focused women striving to improve the lives of women and children in Centre County. The club is sponsored by the Soroptimist International of Centre County, an organization for business and professional women.
Our Current Officers and Duties

- Be the chief officer
- Conduct the business of the club
- Preside at meetings of the club and the board
- Appoint all committees unless otherwise provided for in these bylaws
- Be ex-officio member of all committees except the nominating committee
- Vice President

- Work under and in cooperation with the President and President-Elect
- Become familiar with all phases of Venture
- In absence of the President and President-Elect at a monthly meeting, Vice President will assume the chair. In absence of the Secretary or Treasurer the Vice President will assume their duties
- Serve as chair of the Service Committee
- Oversee VCA Grant Committee

Kristie Bundro
- Receive the funds of the club and deposit them in the financial institution as authorized by the Board
- Pay authorized bills
- Prepare financial reports and present them at each monthly meeting
- Prepare yearly budget
- Serve as ex-officio member of the finance committee

- Record the minutes of the monthly meetings and distribute them to members in a timely manner
- Record attendance and service hours at each monthly meeting
- Send out notices and carry on such correspondences as does not properly belong to other officers
